Lark Gardner
Lark has been living, adventuring, and working in Bariloche, Argentina since 2011. Her first visit to this area was as a staff participant with the North Carolina Outward Bound School (NCOBS) in 2009 on a Mountaineering Training.
She is originally from Louisville, Kentucky and moved to North Carolina at the age of 18 to study Outdoor Leadership at Warren Wilson College. Lark has worked with the NC Outward Bound school for going on 16 years in various roles including Instructor, Course Director, & Program Director. Lark is a certified sea kayak guide working in the Lakes District around Bariloche and in the Antarctic Peninsula.
She has co-facilitated wilderness medicine courses with Expertia Capacita in various locations in Patagonia, Argentina.
Adrian Penzotti
Born under the foothills of the Argentinean Andes, Adrian started his mountaineering life at very young age. In 1999 he finished his mountain guide training in Mendoza, where he received a High Altitude mountain guide degree.
Since then, his mountaineering adventures took him to travel and climb in a variety of countries and landscapes, leading expeditions in Patagonia, the Andes of Argentina, Bolivia and Perú, the major peaks of the Alps and the icy mountains in Greenland. He has lead trips with North Carolina Outward Bound for several programs in Patagonia.
For years, Adrian has been training outdoor professionals to attend medical emergencies in wilderness settings as a Wilderness First Responder instructor. Since 2019 he leads the nonprofit Expertia Capacita, an institution focused in wilderness medicine.
With more than 20 years of experience in the field, sharing the simple life of expedition journeys is what motivates and inspires Adrian to lead great adventures around the planet.
Leticia Bocos
Born in Buenos Aires, Leticia began her adventurous life kayaking on the great Río de la Plata. During university, where she got her bachelor degree in Business Administration, she acquired her love for the outdoors, which took her to explore the Andes of Argentina, and Peru.
Based in Bariloche, Northern Patagonia since 2009, she became a kayak specialist, a travel agent, a tour guide and a naturalist specialized in Patagonia. She is WFR certified and has a diploma in environmental education. She gained experience leading trips in Patagonia, the polar regions (Greenland and Antarctica) and Bolivia. She has also been designing trips and itineraries since 2015 for Travel Rupestre, her personal project.
