ABOUT US

Who we are

We are educators. We have been Instructing, guiding, and curriculum developing for +20 years in the field of experiential education, naturalism, and wilderness first aid.

Our aim is to treat participants as students, supporting intellectual as well as social/emotional development. We strive to inspire participants to question and learn about the place and culture where they are traveling.
Our hope is to Spark something new in each individual, a desire to grow through travel. Our time in the field has shown us that using the wilderness as a classroom allows for experiences to occur that are otherwise difficult to access.
Those experiences which we have observed include forming strong community ties and breaking social/emotional isolation.

We are facilitators of community bonding and will orient participants to overcome difficulties together, building skills that they can apply to communities at home, building a better future for everyone.

Why we do it

Each of us at Spark has had the privilege of access to impactful educational experiences in each decade of our lives, through experiences and facilitated by passionate teachers.

Those experiences enrich our lives in such a way that inspires us to provide the same for new generations. It’s a mutual exchange. When we successfully execute mind opening experiences for our participants, that in change Sparks something inside us as the facilitators. Education self perpetuates positivity for us. We thrive on meeting you, hosting your growth, and learning as we do it.

That’s why.

What we do

We facilitate educationally focused travel experiences in Argentina. That means that we will Instruct participants with the basics of each activity in which we engage.

While trekking we will teach how to read a map, rather than follow the guide, for example. We invite our groups to engage actively with the activity of the day, hoping to find a Spark.
The areas in which we program allow for a wide variety of activities and we want to hear from you which interest your group and build an itinerary based on your social/emotional/educational/travel goals. You can find sample itineraries of trips we have facilitated here and these are a few ideas to Spark your interest; trekking, lake kayaking, rock-climbing, tango dancing, spanish classes, horseback riding, volunteering, bird watching, yoga, local cooking class…

We want to know what you want to do.
